Chronic Inflammation
“Consuming foods with omega 6 fatty acids in proportion to omega 3 fatty acids at about a 2:1 or 1:1 ratio is considered beneficial. However, the Western diet sits at about a 16-20:1 ratio, meaning excessive intake of foods causing inflammation, with little to counteract.”
Crossfit vs Soda
One of CrossFit’s recent undertaking is against big beverage companies. In particular Coca-Cola and Gatorade. I completely admit, I have not followed these with any amount of detail because quite frankly, it does not matter to me that much. Essentially what Crossfit and these companies are going back and forth about is clarity in advertising for their products and lack of integrity in their “science-proven” research.
